Kris Klein is the founder of the Greater Salt Lake City location for Senior Living Specialists. Kris previously lived in Utah in her early twenties before returning to Texas. While serving on the on the leadership team of a new Assisted Living and Memory Care development in 2015, Kris met Paul Markowitz, Owner, and Founder of Senior Living Specialists.
She identified with the values of Senior Living Specialists rooted in Paul’s own experiences with an aging loved one. Kris has volunteered for nonprofit organizations across the country, served on the Executive Board of a Five Star Chamber of Commerce Women’s Group, and has a professional background of more than 20 years in business development. Kris’s personal experience of helping family members lead her into senior care and ultimately to joining Paul’s team in 2017.
She has a natural love for helping families deal with difficult decisions around senior care placement and believes it’s an honor to assist families and their loved ones. Kris follows her heart and serves with an ethical approach. She easily connects with others, understands the innerworkings of a care facility well, and understands ways to manage everyone’s unique needs.
Kris has a huge excitement around expanding the care network of Senior Living Specialists and helping thousands of families in Utah. She’s an avid snowboarder who loves the Utah landscape and outdoors. It was an easy decision to return to the Salt Lake City Area after meeting her husband, David, who is a Utah local with deep family roots in the state. Kris is grateful for the opportunity to share her passion and knowledge with you and your loved ones.

Senior Living Specialists realizes that Salt Lake County isn’t the only area that needs our local expertise. We are focused on helping families in Utah County as well. Kris’s husband, David Noel, grew up in Orem/Provo. David and his family are deeply rooted in Utah.
We pride ourselves on our local knowledge of the senior care facilities and understand the geography can be an important factor. Location might one of the most important requirements in your care facility decision – we know the details of the surrounding area – something our national competitors lack.
Finally, the foundation of this company was aimed at helping families in challenging times that can cause them frustration. We recognized that by providing our service free of any costs to the families that we help. Our compensation comes in the form of a one-time referral fee from the community or assisted living facility selected by the family. It is only paid after their loved one has officially moved into their new home.
